AT&T 4G LTE arrives in 10 new cities

Yesterday Sprint announced many new cities that are receiving their 4G LTE service, and today AT&T follows. AT&T announced today that 10 new cities will receive their blazing fast service, most being in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Georgia. From the names, it looks like AT&T is starting to get into the less heavily populated, rural areas. You can see the full list of new 4G LTE cities after the break.

The electronics giant is getting ready for massive production of sapphire displays.  Speculation has been running rampant about Apple's plans for mobile devices with a sapphire screen and it is finally appear to be firming up on Thursday. Apple uses sapphire for the ID fingerprint sensor in the iPhone 5S The iPhone maker recently placed a large order with GT Advanced Technologies for furnaces and chambers used in making sapphire displays. According to 9to5Mac, GT Advanced has already received 518 furnace and chamber systems, which would let it build 103 million to 116 million 5-inch displays per year. (Another 420 machines are still on order, which would nearly double that production output.) Moreover, GT Advanced also has ordered Intego Sirius Sapphire Display Inspection Tool components, which would work to make sure that the displays meet high-quality standards. Apple even after launching its remarkable iphone 5 doesn’t stop its development in the mobile field A new patent by the Cupertino, Calif. tech powerhouse have been passed.  The company has patented a flexible screen technology that could not only allow for curved screens on future devices, but ones that transform to feature physical buttons and actually emit sound as well.  The screen type can be bent into concave and convex configurations as seen in the pics above, but their flexibility is about more than aesthetics.
