New HP Tablet "Omni 10" Appears In FCC Filing

A newly uncovered FCC document reveals that HP may be working on a new tablet which may be called the HP Omni 10.

The HP Slate 10 was tested at the FCC during the first two weeks of August, and while they were not able to publish photos, a sketch of the tablet gives quite a clear idea of what it should look like.

It includes a sketch of the device’s back panel showing the HP logo in the center, the Omni 10 name below it, and “HP Slate” written on the label, a camera placed at the top center, and a volume rocker on the side.

Another image shows some text describing the device as an HP Slate, which suggests we are in fact looking at a pure tablet despite the fact that earlier Omni-series devices have been all-on-one products. TechKiddy also claims the Omni 10 will come equipped with a 10-inch display, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and will launch next month at IFA in Berlin, though we’re not sure where the site is getting its info.
