Images Leaked For Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 For AT&T

The Galaxy Mega 6.3, a device which still has us confused as to whether it’s a phone or a tablet, may soon be arriving on AT&T in the U.S.

Leakster extraordinaire evleaks with his Twitter account has leaked the press image for the AT&T variant of the device, showing off the carrier’s logo on the back, while the front of the handset reveals an Aug. 23 date, presumably referring to its imminent launch. Canadian carriers are already preparing to launch the Mega 6.3, and it looks like AT&T (and likely other U.S. carriers) will begin offering it to consumers around the same time.

FEATURES:

  1. 6.3-inch HD TFT LCD (720p)
  2. Snapdragon 400 dual-core 1.7GHz processor
  3. 1.5GB RAM
  4. 8-megapixel camera with full HD video recording
  5. 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera
  6. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
  7. microSD card support
  8. GPS, NFC, MHL
  9. a 3,200mAh battery
  10. Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
  11. customary TouchWiz customization
  12. WatchON (for use with the infrared port)
  13. Smart Stay, Direct Call, and Multi-Window multitasking.

There is no indication of when the phone will arrive on AT&T. There was also a Sprint version that made it through the Bluetooth SIG certification process. The most interesting statistic for the Mega 6.3 will be its price: with a new, super-premium Galaxy Note due before the end of the year, it would be a good move on AT&T's part to price this thing well below $200 on-contract.
