Android Flip Phone “Hennessy” From Samsung Leaked

Android Flip Phone “Hennessy” From Samsung

Samsung is working on a few Android-powered flip phones, Samsung’s SCH-W789 dubbed as "Hennessy" was leaked late last month which is extremely similar to the Galaxy Folder.

There isn’t a full QWERTY keyboard in sight, instead you’ll find an alphanumeric layout with a 5-way navigation pad and the standard Android buttons for menu, home and search. There’s also a camera button. The phone allegedly packs a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, external and internal 3.3-inch HVGA displays, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 1GB of RAM, microSD card slot, a 5-megapixel camera with flash sits on the back of the device and Luxury Gold colour option.

We’re so accustomed to new big-screen smartphones with super beefy processors so it’s certainly hard for us to get excited about the Hennessy but we know there’s still a market for flip phones in some parts of the world. The good news is that at least we've got leaks like this one to help us ogle the devices from afar. The device is apparently headed to China Telecom in the near future, where it’ll support both CDMA and GSM networks.
