Till now Samsung was completely ruling the rumors market but now Micromax has entered the same league and competing other mobile manufacturing companies with  Micromax A117 Canvas 4. Canvas series has given Micromax the required platform on which they can built their successful future.















After these 4 smartphones/phablets now Micromax is going to unveil its 5th Canvas phablet coded MMX A117 Canvas 4. Those four smartphones are:-


1.  Micromax A100 Canvas
2.  Micromax A110 Canvas 2
3.  Micromax A116 Canvas HD
4.  Micromax A120 Canvas 3 (yet to be launched)


Micromax A117 Canvas 4 Specifications

• 5 inch screen
• Android 4.2 or Key Lime OS
• 1.7 GHz quad core processor
• 16 GB onboard memory
• 13 MP rear, 2 MP front camera
• 3000 mAh battery


Canvas 4 houses a 5.0 inch screen with unknown resolutions. But by seeing previous gadgets from MMX, I think that it will come with 1280x768 or above resolution specs. It will run on Android 4.2 Jellybean operating system however if some tech gurus are to be believed then it might come with upcoming Android Key Lime processor which would be first of its kind. It is powered by a quad core processor with 1.7 GHz clocking and 2 GB RAM. So it will be fastest Micromax smartphone which will bring new level of multi-tasking and butter transitions. 

It will come with 16 GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 64 GB through a standard SD card. It will house 13 MP back and 2 MP front facing camera which clearly shows MMX thinking towards next generation gadgets. Both the cameras are very strong and stands really well at their respective positions. It might even come with 4G connectivity.

It is a dual SIM smartphone which is stuffed with USB, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC etc connectivity features. Further it is stocked with 3,000 mAh very strong battery which can scale all its specs to next level. Till now Canvas 3 is the only MMX gadget which comes with 3000 mAh battery and now Canvas 4 will also follow the similar track. 





MMX A117 Canvas 4 is supposed to hit market with a price tag Rs. 19,000-20,000 and may be available by 2013 end.

Sapphire Displays by Apple

The electronics giant is getting ready for massive production of sapphire displays.  Speculation has been running rampant about Apple's plans for mobile devices with a sapphire screen and it is finally appear to be firming up on Thursday. Apple uses sapphire for the ID fingerprint sensor in the iPhone 5S The iPhone maker recently placed a large order with GT Advanced Technologies for furnaces and chambers used in making sapphire displays. According to 9to5Mac, GT Advanced has already received 518 furnace and chamber systems, which would let it build 103 million to 116 million 5-inch displays per year. (Another 420 machines are still on order, which would nearly double that production output.) Moreover, GT Advanced also has ordered Intego Sirius Sapphire Display Inspection Tool components, which would work to make sure that the displays meet high-quality standards.
