The future car technology will include totally different energy sources and materials which are being developed in order to make these more energy efficient with reduced regulated emission. As we know, the petrol and diesel prices are hiking everyday and in the future there will be scarcity of both. So with taken this into consideration, the future cars are now leading towards fuel efficiency, energy savers, hybrid vehicles, battery electric vehicles and fuel cell vehicles.
 
New technologies in the cars will be:-
-Driverless cars -Hydrogen cars,liquid nitrogen cars,compressed-air cars -water repellant glass
In the future cars, the main aim of designers and engineers is to improve efficiency as the conventional automobiles operate only about 15% efficiency.
 

Compressed air hybrid is an engine made by researchers at Brunel University in Britain which forces highly compressed air into the engine which reduces fuel consumption by 30%.
Duralumin, Fibreglass ,Carbon Fibre and carbon nanotubes will totally replace all steel in cars which will improve lightness and strength.
 
The heavier the vehicle the more fuel it will consume and performance is decreased making the car less efficient but by using lighter materials cars can achieve less fuel consumption and increased performance resulting in greater efficiency.

Sapphire Displays by Apple

The electronics giant is getting ready for massive production of sapphire displays.  Speculation has been running rampant about Apple's plans for mobile devices with a sapphire screen and it is finally appear to be firming up on Thursday. Apple uses sapphire for the ID fingerprint sensor in the iPhone 5S The iPhone maker recently placed a large order with GT Advanced Technologies for furnaces and chambers used in making sapphire displays. According to 9to5Mac, GT Advanced has already received 518 furnace and chamber systems, which would let it build 103 million to 116 million 5-inch displays per year. (Another 420 machines are still on order, which would nearly double that production output.) Moreover, GT Advanced also has ordered Intego Sirius Sapphire Display Inspection Tool components, which would work to make sure that the displays meet high-quality standards. gStick: A Pen Shaped Mouse Mimicking a pen in shape and size, gStick is looking to join the ranks of alternative mouse designs that aim to attain extra degree of precision, difficult to attain using a conventional mouse. Gordon Alan Stewart of Anchorage, Alaska created the gStick after he tried to sign a contract online using a traditional mouse and realised how difficult it can be with the tried and tested form factor. After three years of development and testing, he is now ready to bring gStick to the market. The gStick has not been designed to completely replace a traditional mouse, but instead for those people who use applications such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Video Editing and 3D rendering has been mentioned, along with PC gamers, which seems unusual to us.
