Google Launched "Views" Community For Viewing, Sharing And Contributing Of Photo Spheres To Maps Google has announced a new community based service called Views. The new service serves one main purpose: it’s a place to publicly share your photo spheres to Google Maps. If you need a refresher, Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) and above comes with a photo sphere camera that lets you snap photos in any direction and piece them together into 360º panoramas that Google calls “photo spheres.” You can then view these on your phone, share them to Google+, add them to Google Maps, and even post them on your own website. Moto X reveal 'Magic Glass' display

Image
As Motorola’s first Google smartphone, the Moto X has been featured in murmurings for a while now.    Reports have pegged the Moto X as a midrange smartphone with a premium feel. The so-called Magic Glass is said to be Corning’s Gorilla Glass, but rather than your standard flat, tough glass named after a primate, the glass will wrap around the front edges of the device, offering a curved feel. The glass won’t wrap around very much, and it wouldn’t be surprising if it doesn’t offer any new viewing area. Instead, the glass would offer extra protection to the phone. It wouldn’t save the phone from a hammer intentionally directed at the screen by an ex, but would strengthen the phone against little bumps and dings, such as when you haphazardly place the phone on a hard surface. A curved surface wouldn’t fly on a phone with a standard rectangular design, though, as there would likely be a bit of a gap between the rounded curve and the flat bezel.    This is a

Restricted profiles Google added multi-user profiles in the last iteration of Android and it seems the search engine giant wants to enhance that experience through restricted profiles. Farm 432: A Kitchen Appliance That Breeds Fly Larva For Protein

Farm 432: A Kitchen Appliance That Breeds Fly Larva For Protein Flies are usually considered unwelcome guests in the kitchen, but a Designer and Fulbright scholar Katharina Unger has created "Farm 432" whisc is a fly-breeding device for home use that continually collects fly larva as a protein source for less squeamish diners. As unappetizing as it may sound, the designer hopes that convincing the Western world to add insects to its diet could help increase the planet's overall food supply. "Farm 432 enables people to turn against the dysfunctional system of current meat production by growing their own protein source," said Unger. Unger, an industrial design student at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, devised her concept of a self-contained fly larva farm as an alternative to factory livestock. "Black soldier fly larva are one of the most efficient protein converters in insects, containing up to 42% of protein, a lot of calcium a
