GOOGLE GLASS

One of 8,000 people in the world to get his hands on the latest Google Glass technology is a tech blogger here in the Tampa Bay area who gave us a sneak peek.

It can take photos and video on command, give directions, translate languages and answer questions among the many things it does.
Local tech blogger Bruce Burke got a chance to try it out after being chosen as part of a Google contest. Once chosen, he paid the current retail price of $1,500 for the glasses.

Google Glass is set to be released to the public in 2014. No word yet on how much it will cost once it's released, but some speculate it could cost as little as $500 once it's released.
