Specs For HTC Zara Leaked With 4.5-inch qHD Display, Android 4.3, Sense 5.5 And Plastic Body

It appears HTC is preparing to introduce another Android mid-range smartphone, known as HTC Zara, in the coming weeks.

A tweet posted by the notorious @evleaks has revealed the design of the alleged HTC Zara as well as specifications of the device which includes that the device is made up of plastic instead of aluminium. The leaked image shows the front and rear panel of the yet to be announced mid-range smartphone from Taiwanese handset maker.

  4. 8GB of internal storage (microSD expandable)

It’s unclear at this point what changes and improvements Sense 5.5 will bring. According to the leak, the Zara could hit the market sometime in Q4 of this year.

The electronics giant is getting ready for massive production of sapphire displays.  Speculation has been running rampant about Apple's plans for mobile devices with a sapphire screen and it is finally appear to be firming up on Thursday. Apple uses sapphire for the ID fingerprint sensor in the iPhone 5S The iPhone maker recently placed a large order with GT Advanced Technologies for furnaces and chambers used in making sapphire displays. According to 9to5Mac, GT Advanced has already received 518 furnace and chamber systems, which would let it build 103 million to 116 million 5-inch displays per year.
